Come on, German journalists - we Hungarians know you can do better :)
They're not actually real journalists around here.
And what about the "holy crown of St. Stephen" mumbo-jumbo in the constitutional preamble (I know they toned it down, but come on...), the neutering of the courts, the revival of the cult of Horthy and the constant invective against foreign holders of Hungarian assets? Orban's more than a bit off his rocker... a shame really after such a promising start.
My bad. I thought Charlotte Haunhorst was a journalist. Is she a blogger then?
This is a mere tabloid.

1.) The crown is the symbol of Hungary and represents our more than a 1000 year old European and Roman Catholic past. I hope it doesn't offends you... if it does, who cares?
2.) Horthy didn't have a "cult". He was a governor, (a former-admiral back then before the Trianon treaty, when Hungary still had a sea bordering it) in a very difficult time, who had to balance between Hitler and Stalin and the indifferent West. Hungary was in a no win situation and he did his best. I don't see why wh should condemn him, he was no Hitler, that's for sure.
3.) "foreign holders of Hungarian assets"?
You mean banks and transnational companies? So far there were no rules applying to them, only to the Hungarian State. Now they have obligations as well, that they must comply with. It is only fair... Hungary is not a colony, doesn't even look like one.
